According to Brandon Mychal Smith, some guy who apparently plays Nico in Sonny with a Chance has confirmed that the show will return on June 5th at 8:30 p.m.
The show's lead character, Demi Lovato announced that she had quit the show, last month. For the third season, the show will be retitled, and will now focus on the show-within-a-show, So Random instead of the usual behind the scenes format. According to some cast members, the show will be sort of like a child's version of Saturday Night Live. The season premiere will also include a musical special guest.
So, will you bother to watch the show now that Lovato has officially left, or is this just a trainwreck for the Disney Channel, waiting to happen?
