The Office star, Steve Carell announced last year that the seventh season of the show would be his final season, despite this, the peacock-network renewed the show for an eighth season. Carell plays the goofy Michael in the show, and his final episode, entitled Goodbye, Michael is set to debut on April 28th.
Weird how NBC decided to let Carell leave before the season was even finished, huh?
Either way, the hour-long season finale of the show is set to air May 19, and will include many guest stars, including Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano and Catherine Tate, who will all play candidates being interviewed for Michael's position, and we have just learned that Jim Carrey will also be a guest star in the season finale.
