Empire Carpet Guy LIVES ON !

Elmer Lynn Hauldren is immortal.

Okay, so maybe not, but if you don't know who Hauldren is, he's the spokesman from the Empire Carpet. Unfortunately, he passed away on Wednesday at the age of 89, but a rep for the company says they have no plans whatsoever to replace the famous jingle.

Incase you have no idea what we're talking about: here's the lyrics of the famous less-than-ten-seconds jingle:

One eight hundred, five eight eight, two three hundred, EMPIRE!

Still don't get it? That's what YouTube's for.
